A blast from the past

In October 2004, I visited a close friend from college, the extremely talented photographer, Mr. Cole G. In his open concept apartment in downtown Toronto, we created a makeshift studio with whatever flashes we had and the warehouse-white walls in his place. One of my favourite parts of the trip was arriving at Union Station extremely late to find him sitting on a park bench outside drinking beer from a giant can, wrapped in a paper bag. Maybe the next time he visits Ottawa, I can be waiting on a park bench, drinking chai from a paper bag.
