Wedding bells
Wedding season is here! Because of working at the newspaper, I was only able to book four weddings for the 2010 summer. That being said, they are all going to be wonderful, unique weddings. Two in Perth, one downtown Ottawa and a backyard barbecue wedding in Carleton Place. Congratulations to all soon-to-be newlyweds!

Prepping for the big leagues
I find it very interesting to watch the younger football players in the area. Before the minor league was created a few years ago, there was no place for elementary players to play the game. Now, they can play in a structured league with professional coaches, preparing them for the high school football leagues. And let's face it. Around here, high school football is huge.
